Outpatient Services

Day Care Services (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

The Day Care Unit provides:

* Chemotherapy administration

* Blood component transfusion

* Supportive care

*Hematology related procedures- Bone marrow aspiration & biopsy, lumbar puncture, intrathecal chemotherapy, PICC line insertion

Inpatient Services

The department provides comprehensive 24×7 inpatient care, including:

* Diagnosis and evaluation of hematological disorders including leukemia.lymphoma etc

* Intensive medical management of both benign and malignant hematological disorders

* Continuous patient monitoring

* Supportive care including transfusion services

Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit

The BMT Unit provides comprehensive care for patients undergoing both autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, including:

* Pre-transplant evaluation

* Conditioning therapy

* Stem cell infusion

* Infection prevention and control

* Management of transplant-related complications

It also offers facilities for CAR T therapy and other cellular therapies

Diagnostic Procedures

The Department of Hematology performs a wide range of specialized diagnostic procedures, including:

* Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy

* Flow cytometry

* Coagulation studies

* Specialized hematopathology investigations including molecular testing

* Advanced diagnostic tests for accurate diagnosis, prognostication, treatment planning, and disease monitoring of hematological disorders

Achievements and Awards

Succesfully implemented extended Haematology Day Care Hours (8 AM-8 PM),ensuring uninterrupted patient centric care and improving department efficiency.

Successfully performed 21 bone marrow transplants till date,including both autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants.

Established advanced Cellular Therapy services for management of complex hematological disorders

Faculty is frequently invited to prestigious conferences for invited lectures, chairing sessions and as panelists for discussions
