• क्लिनिकल बायोकैमिस्ट्री लैब: 

स्थान: दूसरी मंज़िल, मुख्य ओ.पी.डी. भवन, वी.एम.एम.सी. एवं सफदरजंग अस्पताल, नई दिल्ली। (समय – सामान्य शिफ्ट 09:00 AM – 04:00 PM)

• आपातकालीन क्लिनिकल बायोकैमिस्ट्री प्रयोगशाला (24x7 घंटे): 

स्थान: कमरा संख्या 111, पहली मंजिल, नया आपातकालीन भवन, वीएमएमसी एवं सफदरजंग अस्पताल। नई दिल्ली (समय – 24x7)

सेवाएँ:

• शैक्षणिक सेवाएँ: जैव रसायन विभाग विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों जैसे एम.डी. (जैव रसायन), एमबीबीएस, बी.एससी. (ऑनर्स) नर्सिंग और बी.एससी. एमएलटी में प्रवेश लेने वाले छात्रों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करने में निरंतर संलग्न है। इसमें एमआरटी/एमआरओ के प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम तथा छात्रों के लिए अल्पकालिक प्रशिक्षण भी शामिल हैं।  विभाग के संकाय सदस्य अस्पताल के विभिन्न एमडी, एमएस, डीएम, एमसीएच और डीएनबी छात्रों के शोध-प्रबंध कार्य में भी शामिल हैं। अधिकांश कार्य आणविक और आनुवंशिक अनुसंधान पर केंद्रित है, जिसके लिए विभाग में एक सुसज्जित आणविक जीवविज्ञान प्रयोगशाला स्थापित की गई है। हम अन्य प्रयोगशाला विभागों के सह-पर्यवेक्षक के रूप में भी कार्य करते हैं।

• क्लिनिकल लैब सेवाएँ: क्लिनिकल बायोकैमिस्ट्री लैब में की गई जाँचों (Investigations) की कुल संख्या लगभग 14 लाख थी। की गई जाँचों की कुल संख्या में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई है। वर्तमान में लैब दो ऑटो एनालाइज़र से सुसज्जित है। 

  क्लिनिकल बायोकैमिस्ट्री लैब – लिपिड प्रोफाइल। ग्लूकोज, सोडियम, पोटैशियम, क्लोराइड, टी.बिल (T.Bil), डी.बिल (D.Bil), एएसटी (AST), एएलटी (ALT), एएलपी (ALP), यूरिया, क्रिएटिनिन, सीके (CK), सीके-एमबी (CK-MB), एमाइलेज, सीएसएफ शुगर/प्रोटीन, बॉडी फ्लूइड प्रोटीन, कैल्शियम, फॉस्फोरस, मैग्नीशियम (Mg), एलडीएच (LDH), एल्ब्यूमिन, कुल प्रोटीन, मूत्र संबंधी-(क्रिएटिनिन, इलेक्ट्रोलाइट्स (Na, K, Cl), ग्लूकोज, फॉस्फोरस।)

• आपातकालीनप्रयोगशाला सेवाएँ:वीएमएमसी एवं सफदरजंग अस्पतालके नए आपातकालीन ब्लॉकमें एक स्वतंत्र आपातकालीनक्लिनिकल बायोकेमिस्ट्री लैब स्थापित कीगई है, जो अस्पतालको चौबीसों घंटे सेवाएँ प्रदानकर रही है। इसकाटर्न अराउंड टाइम 2.5 घंटे से कमहै। वर्ष 2025 में इस लैबद्वारा लगभग 30 लाख परीक्षण किएगए।

  आपातकालीन (24*7) बायोकेमिस्ट्री लैब – ग्लूकोज, सोडियम, पोटैशियम, क्लोराइड, टी. बिल, डी. बिल, AST, ALT, ALP, यूरिया, क्रिएटिनिन, CK, CK-MB, एमाइलेज, लाइपेज, CSF शुगर/प्रोटीन, बॉडीफ्लूइड प्रोटीन, कैल्शियम, फॉस्फोरस, Mg, LDH, एल्ब्यूमिन, टोटल प्रोटीन, कोलिनेस्टरेज़।

जैव रसायन विभागएक नैदानिक और प्रयोगशाला-आधारितविभाग है, क्योंकि यहमुख्य रूप से विभिन्ननैदानिक विभागों द्वारा भेजे गए रोगियोंके नमूनों का विश्लेषण करकेनैदानिक प्रयोगशाला सेवाएँ प्रदान करता है।

•          28 अगस्त, 2025 को AMBI-DC के तत्वावधान में "Digital Era Biochemist" विषय पर एक CME का सफल आयोजन।

•           25 अप्रैल, 2026 को ACCLMP के तत्वावधान में "BEYOND COMPLIANCE : NEW ERA OF QUALITY" विषय पर एक CME का सफल आयोजन।

•           विभाग ने आधिकारिक रूप से अपनी NABL मान्यता का नवीनीकरण कर लिया है। 

•           हमें नए डायग्नोस्टिक परीक्षणों को शुरू करने की पुष्टि प्राप्त हुई, जिससे विभाग की नैदानिक क्षमताओं में और वृद्धि हुई। 

•           विभाग को अपनी स्नातकोत्तर (PG) सीटों की संख्या 6 से बढ़ाकर 8 करने की स्वीकृति प्राप्त हुई है, जिससे संस्थान में चिकित्सा शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के उज्ज्वल भविष्य को सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
